CONTAINER DESICCANT

Best Dry®️ Container Desiccant is a substance used to absorb moisture within shipping containers during transportation or storage. These desiccants come in multiple bags with one hanger in a single strip that helps hang the desiccant bag on the container wall. Moreover, they are specifically designed to control humidity levels, preventing moisture-related damage to goods during transit.

First of all, the primary purpose of container desiccants is to absorb excess moisture present in the air inside the container. Moisture can accumulate due to temperature changes, humidity, or condensation, which can lead to mold, mildew, corrosion, or spoilage of goods like electronics, food products, textiles, and more.

What Is Container Rain

Container rain, also known as container sweating or container condensation, actually refers to the accumulation of moisture inside shipping containers. It occurs when the temperature inside the container is lower than the dew point temperature of the air inside. So, when the air cools down inside the container, it turns into water droplets on the colder surfaces, which can harm the stuff inside and encourage mold and mildew to grow.
Moreover, container rain is a common problem in shipping and storage, particularly in locations with high humidity or significant temperature variations.
If the air is sufficiently cooled, some of the humidity can condense. After further cooling, the water vapor in the air condenses to form liquid water. When the air cools to its dew point by coming into contact with a surface cooler than the air, the water condenses on the surface. Falling temperatures by 5 degrees are often enough to cause problems. That’s why Best Dry® Container Desiccant is specially produced, absorbing up to 300% moisture to keep your goods safe.

Moisture Problem

A moisture problem refers to the presence of excess moisture or water in a particular area or object. It can occur in high humidity, water leaks, condensation, or inadequate ventilation.

Also, it can lead to damage, deterioration, and the growth of mold and mildew, which can negatively impact the quality of air and the structural integrity of goods.

Prevent Moisture

To avoid moisture, you need to place Best Dry®️ Container Desiccants which are moisture-absorbing material inside the container. These Desiccants help to absorb up to 300% excess moisture and prevent condensation and dampness. By using these Best Dry®️ Container Desiccants, you can minimize the risk of moisture problems in containers and protect your goods from damage or deterioration.
